CYBERJAYA, 21 May - The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will make sure that the reduction of cellular rates will be done quickly so that the rakyat will not feel the effects of the GST for mobile prepaid services.
“The telcos have responded positively to the Minister’s call to reduce rates and offering special packages to students,” said MCMC Chairman, Dato’ Sri Dr Halim Shafie.
He added that MCMC will monitor closely the rate reduction and the proposed packages for students.
