216. Gantry A steel structure which carries any telecommunications cable from equipment of the Cabin or building to the antenna of the Tower or Pole. REG - R 002

218. Generator Diesel or petrol generated machine for the supply of electrical power, such machine varies in size and load capacity and is used as a permanent or standby power supply. REG - R 002
219. Geographic Area Means
(a) a high density area which has a population density of more than 200 people per square kilometre
(b) a medium density area which has a population density of between 50 and 200 people per square kilometre
(c) a low density area which has a population density of 50 people per square kilometre

220. Geographic Unit, In Relation To An Assignment Or Transfer A geographically bounded area within which the signal strength may be above a specified limit. SR
221. GMDSS The Global Maritime Distress and Safety System derived and established by the International Maritime Organisation. TSR

223. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) The data for GDP are current price data in national currency. GDP is the total value of goods and services used up in the production process, but before deducting allowances for the consumption of fixed capital. 224. Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) GFCF consists of outlays in fixed assets by industries and the government and real estate transfer fees. Included are expenditure on residential buildings, non residential buildings, other civil engineering construction, land improvement, transport equipment, machinery and equipment and breeding stock. 225. Gross Turnover The gross turnover of the licensed activities of an individual licensee during its financial year. LR
226. Ground Electrode Any conducting material buried underground for earthing purposes. REG - R 002
227. Guyed Mast A structure supported by guyed wires for the purpose of installing telecommunications equipment normally standing at the height of 30 meters to 50 meters or vertical lattice roof structure with common base and wire guide. REG - R 002
