329. National Trunk Telephone Traffic National trunk (toll) traffic of effective (completed) national traffic exchanged with a station outside local charging area of the calling station. ITU (Fixed Line Traffic)
330. Nation-wide coverage Geographical areas needing service coverage and populated areas, trunk road, some sea routes near the coasts and inland river routes. REG - Q 001
331. Net Turnover The gross turnover less the amount of industry development expenditure incurred by a person. LR
332. Net Universal Service Cost The loss incurred by a universal service provider from supplying services to a universal area in the course of fulfilling the universal service obligation. USP (CP)
333. Network
1. An interconnection of three or more communicating entities.
2. An interconnection of usually passive electronic components that performs a specific function (which is usually limited in scope), e.g., to simulate a transmission line or to perform a mathematical function such as integration or differentiation.

334. Network Advertising and Cineplex An applications service for advertising in which content and information is remotely generated and is distributed though a network service. LEO
335. Network Boundary The network boundary provided under section 128. CMA
336. Network Facilities Any element or combination of elements of physical infrastructure used principally for, or in connection with, the provision of network services, but does not include customer equipment. CMA
337. Network Facilities Provider A person who is an owner of any network facilities. CMA
338. Network Facilities Provider Class Licensee A person who is registered with the Commission to provide a network facility in accordance with the Act and these Regulations. LR
339. Network Facilities Provider Individual Licence An individual licence granted to a network facilities provider in accordance with the provisions of the Act and these Regulations. LR
340. Network Matter A matter relating to the operation of telecommunications networks, or the operation of facilities connected to or within the boundaries of the telecommunications networks, or the supply of telecommunications services by means of telecommunications network. REG - T 007
341. Network Operator A person that is granted a license by Minister of Energy, Telecommunications and Posts under the Act to establish, maintain and operate a telecommunications network in Malaysia. REG - Q 002
342. Network Operator An operator licensed to establish, maintain and operate telecommunications network and services in accordance with Section 3 of the Telecommunication Act 1950. REG - R 002
343. Network Operators All Domestic Fixed Wireless Operator and Domestic Fixed Operators. REG - R 003

346. Network Provider A person, firm, body corporate, or an authority that is granted a Licence by the Minister of Energy, Telecommunications and Posts to establish, maintain and operate a telecommunications network in Malaysia. REG - T 011
347. Network Provider’s Equipment Any apparatus, device, line, infrastructure, interfacing device or equipment used or intended to be used in connection with a telecommunications network to supply telecommunications. REG - T 007
348. Network Service A service for carrying communications by means of guided and/or unguided electromagnetic radiation. CMA
349. Network Service Provider A person who provides network services. CMA
350. Network Service Provider Class Licensee A person who is registered with the Commission to provide a network service in accordance with the Act and these Regulations. LR
351. Network Service Provider Individual Licence An individual licence granted to a network service provider in accordance with the provisions of the Act and these Regulations. LR
352. Network Termination Unit Any device that provides interface ability between customer equipment and the network provider's telecommunications network. REG - T 007
353. Niche Connection Service Shall have the meaning as provided for in subregulation 29(2) of the Communications and Multimedia (Licensing) Regulations. 2000 LR
354. Niche Customer Access Service Shall have the meaning as provided for in subregulation 29(2) of the Communications and Multimedia (Licensing) Regulations 2000. LR
355. Niche Or Limited Purpose Network Facility Shall have the meaning as provided for in subregulation 28(2) of the Communications and Multimedia (Licensing) Regulations 2000. LR
356. Nominated Facilities Provider A person, other than the owner of the network facilities, declared by the Minister to be a nominated facilities provider. CMA
357. Nominated Network Facility The network facility operated and controlled by a person other than the owner of the facility. LR
358. Number A number, letter or symbol. CMA
359. Numbering And Electronic Addressing Plan The numbering and electronic addressing plan developed under section 180. CMA
