What We Do

Licences under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998
Class Licence Registration

A person who wishes to provide facilities and/or services which are subject to a class licence will have to submit the following to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission:

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission shall endorse the Form D and return the duplicate to the class licensee as soon as practicable. The endorsed Form D will be treated as evidence of registration by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission.

Registration of a class licence is valid for one calendar year only. Prior to the expiry of the same, the class licensee will have to submit a fresh application to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission together with the relevant fees and documents.

Ministerial Guidelines

The
Ministerial Guidelines on Class Licence for Network Facilities and the Ministerial Guidelines on Class Licence for Network Services were issued in accordance with Regulation 28 and Regulation 29 of the Communications and Multimedia (Licensing) Regulations 2000, to explain the criteria for registration under a network facilities provider class licence and network services provider class licence.

Fees

For registration under a Class Licence a fee of RM2,500.00 is payable for a One-year registration.
