Apparatus Assignment is an assignment issued to a
person or a company who intend to use or operate telecommunication apparatus
in a specific frequency band.
A person or company should possess an operating licence if they are
interested to become a service provider. This assignment can be acquired
within 60 days of application.
The need to assign apparatus came about due to:

impact of frequency interference
|

ii)
|
the
need to scan the usage of frequency
|
|
iii)
|
threat
to the safety due to incorrect use of an apparatus
|
|
iv)
|
the
level of congestion within the spectrum range required
|
|
v)
|
compliance
with technical standard requirements
