Introduction to SRSP
The SKMM publishes the Standard Radio System Plan (SRSP) with the intention to guide the public on the allocation of spectrum based on the Malaysian Spectrum Plan.
The SRSP provides information on the minimum technical requirements for the efficient use of allocated frequency bands. The main use of SRSP is in the design and specification of radio systems and equipment and in the evaluation of technical applications for new radio facilities or modification to radio systems.
It is intended that the SRSP will provide information on the equipment characteristics and minimum specifications, frequency channelling and coordination initiatives required in order to ensure efficient and interference-free deployment of radio systems.
Current SRSP Reviews
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission is currently reviewing Standard Radio System Plans (SRSPs) for 2500 MHz and 3500 MHz
