YBrs. Puan Siti Fatimah binti Husin (“Puan Siti Fatimah”) has been appointed as a Commission Member of the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) effective from 26 Mac 2026 for a period of two (2) years.

Puan Siti Fatimah currently serves as Undersecretary at the Statutory Body Strategic Management Division, Ministry of Finance Malaysia. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Meiji University, Japan and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Universiti Sains Malaysia, providing a strong foundation in governance and public sector management.
 
Throughout her career, Puan Siti Fatimah has held senior positions across key government institutions, including the Implementation Coordination Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department (ICU JPM), the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development and the Ministry of Education. Her professional expertise spans strategic planning, public sector governance, outcome‑based programme and project evaluation, as well as the management and oversight of Federal Statutory Bodies. She has led the development and review of key national guidelines and circulars and served as technical expert and evaluator for numerous federal and state government initiatives.
 
In addition to her executive roles, she has served on Board of Directors, Audit Committees and task forces for governance reform initiatives and inter‑agency planning mechanisms. Puan Siti Fatimah brings deep institutional knowledge, sound governance judgment and extensive leadership experience at the ministerial and central agency level.
