The Commission recognises the importance to empower you with knowledge and insights on telecommunications policy, regulations, technology, services and their applications to address the current and future needs of the ever-changing and progressive industry.
The content of the Capacity Development Programme (CDeP) Series is tailor-made in-house by MCMC Academy and our Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
The CDeP series focuses on the wireless technology ecosystem, regulatory requirements, industry development and related MCMC roles and functions that support and realise Malaysia’s digital economy objectives. The training courses include topics on the development of mobile wireless technology (i.e., 3G, 4G, 5G), spectrum management, network security and radio spectrum’s Electromagnetic Field (EMF) emission.
Technological innovation is one of the factors that affect sustainable economic growth and contributes to the development and modernisation of a country. As the regulator of the converging communications and multimedia industry in Malaysia, MCMC is driven in establishing a Communication and Multimedia (C&M) industry that is competitive, efficient and increasingly self-regulating, generating growth to meet the economic and social needs of the nation.
The programmes are HRDC Claimable and are eligible for Malaysian Board of Technologies (MBoT) CPD points.
