Apparatus Assignment is an assignment issued to a person or organization that needs to use and/or operate telecommunication apparatus in a specific frequency band. The register of apparatus assignment for the following activities is maintained by the Malaysian Communications And Multimedia Commission.

Class assignment confers rights on any person to use the frequency (ies) for a list of devices. The usage of devices under class assignment is subject to conditions provided in the class assignment issued under section 169 of CMA. No fee shall be payable for class assignment. A class assignment is valid until it is cancelled by MCMC.

The Register of Individual Licence for the following activities will be maintained by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission upon approval of application for Individual Licence for the respective categories of licences.
