The School of Media and Communication Studies (MENTION), Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM, The National University of Malaysia) in collaboration with the South-South Information Gateway (SSIG), Ministry of Communications and Multimedia, Malaysia will hold the 13th International Conference on Media and Communication (MENTION13) from November 26 to 28, 2013 in Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. This Conference is the natural progression of MENTION’s esteemed national biennial research symposium which began in 1980. For the second time, MENTION is once again partnering SSIG so as to create a broader academic and professional platform for discourse in the Conference.
SSIG is a one-stop center for the exchange of information, news and broadcast materials with the perspective of South nations. It was established to be a platform for South nations to provide and source for balanced and accurate news and information that contribute towards the solidarity, development and prosperity of South nations. MENTION is proud to join SSIG towards this vision and mission through MENTION13.
