The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has been alerted on the matter and has immediately notified Telegram on 9 June 2020 for further assessment and action.
We are pursuing Telegram which does not reside in Malaysia actively for their action.
Additionally, MCMC is working closely with Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), and has escalated the issue to Interpol for their assistance.
