Talk on ‘Securing the Network 2010 Series 3: The Age of Botnet’

As part of the Security, Trust and Governance Department (STGD)’s  network security awareness program, STGD, in collaboration with Scan Associates Berhad, Intersecu Sdn Bhd and Symantec Cooperation, will be hosting an industry talk entitled ‘Securing the Network 2010 Series 3: The Age of Botnet’. The industry talk is a continuation to our previous successful events “Securing the Network 2010 Series 1 & 2” that have been conducted earlier this year.
 
The objective of this industry talk is to raise awareness on network security threats – this time around the focus will be on ‘Botnet’.  We will also be sharing the cyber security threat landscape as seen from our own SKMM Network Security Centre (SNSC).  Details of the event are as follows:
