MCMC To Assist PLKN Trainees On Internet Security

25 Nov 2013, Bernama
PASIR MAS, Nov 25 -- The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is cooperating with the National Service Training Department (JLKN) to introduce a new sub-module 'Klik Bijak@PLKN' to about 72,000 National Service Training Programme (PLKN) trainees from January next year.

MCMC Outreach and Engagement Division head Eneng Faridah Iskandar said the new sub-module under the Character Building Module was introduced to impart knowledge on Internet security to trainees.

"This is timely as its target group is youths including PLKN trainees who are among the most exposed groups to cyber threats," she told Bernama.

She was met at a sub-module intensive training programme for trainers of the Eastern Region PLKN at the PLKN Camp in Cancun Park here Monday.
