In the Public Inquiry document on the allocation of spectrum bands for mobile broadband service in Malaysia issued on 1 July 2019, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission outlined its preliminary positions on 700 MHz, 2300 MHz and 2600 MHz bands pertaining to, among others:

i.   Proposed award mechanism;

ii.  Proposed timelines for assignment;

iii. Proposed optimum bandwidth; and

iv. Principles to determine the spectrum fees.
