The MCMC and Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) recently joined forces under the AgriNXT program for a groundbreaking AgriNXT Oil Palm Chapter, showcasing digital solutions for the oil palm industry.
The event featured eight SME tech companies presenting twelve projects addressing five problem statements, bringing together experts and stakeholders.
It raised awareness of digital tech’s potential, highlighting solutions like mobile apps, AI-powered detection, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and autonomous unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs).
Winners will trial their solutions at MPOB’s Kluang site, fostering industry collaboration for digital transformation. This showcase sets the stage for further innovation, paving the way for industry-wide digitalization.
