The heightened demand for connectivity since the pandemic has forced telecommuncations infrastructure to consume
more energy than ever which results in expansion of their carbon footprint.
MCMC is currently conducting a premilinary study of the Communication and Multimedia industry's effort on carbon neutrality.
This study upskilling the team, collecting and analysing data through desktop research and engagement sessions with
the industry players.
DOS 2023 will be an excellent platform for the industry experts to share their organisation's agenda or plan on sustainability
and towards achieving the carbon neutral goal. The outcome of DOS 2023 will furnish priceless input and will be the perfect
complement to the study as well as eye opener to the industry players who are not onboard in this initiative.
